ILL skillz compromise of two well established DJs and Producers from Austria. Their success and growing reputation have placed them on the frontline of the global Drum n Bass movement. They were formed in 2001 by Philipp R AKA Raw Full and his compatriot D.Kay and have since been involved in many highly reputed projects resulting in a widespread success particularly with their releases in the both the UK and mainland Europe.
Excited by their cataclysmic emergence they decided in 2003 to establish ILL Skillz recordings which has now evolved into one of the premier continental Drum n Bass record labels distributing its releases worldwide. As a result they soon released their first 12 “under the guise of X-factor Records on a sub-label of Loxy’s Cylon Recordings which by all accounts was very successful for a debut. Their dedication and industrious approach determined that they would not rest on their laurels and they quickly followed this with a catalogue of well received tunes including Commercial Suicide, Critical, DSCI4, Freak, Renegade Hardware, Outbreak, Universal Music Austria (a short excursion into breakbeat.

Their creative energy, ambitious mentally combined with their business acumen have ensured that they are now recognised around the world for helping spread Drum n Bass over all borders and into all countries. They are now considered dignitaries of the Austrian Drum n Bass scene having help put it on the map and are clearly a major factor in the massive success of this genre of underground music within Austria.

With this reputations inevitably comes greater and more exciting opportunities. Testament to this are some hot collaborations and remixes they have taken part in by the likes of Black Sun Empire, Concord Dawn, Klute and Marcus Intalex. This combined with the fact that they presently about to embark on some exciting collaborations with Metalheadz and Moving Shadow has led many to predict that in 2005 they will finally consolidate their place with Drum N Bass most elite and respected global performing fraternity
